The Foundation
This is the product that is live in beta today, and it is already two-sided. On the community side, a working map of points of sale carries check-ins, reviews, and clear freshness signals. On the seller side, owners can claim and run their own listing. Check-ins and reviews are kept separate on purpose: a check-in is objective, what is in stock, at what price, at what ripeness, right now, while a review is subjective, how the fruit tasted. That separation keeps the live data clean. Underneath, freshness is computed intelligently, decaying over time at a rate tuned to ripeness so the map reflects what is actually there now.
